Boyne & Williamson (1889) reference London number 2153; Obv inscription: RICHARD.TYMMS.AT.YE (around field, in Roman capitals) Device = Three sugar-loaves R.T and 3 above (initials in Roman capitals below sign); Rev inscription: IN.YE.OLD.IEWRY.1670 (around field, in Roman capitals) Device = HIS / HALFE / PENNY / TOKEN (in four lines of Roman capitals, in field).
Old Jewry runs north of Poultry, in Cheap Ward and Coleman Street Ward, in the City of London.
