Boyne & Williamson (1889) reference London number 2094; Obv inscription: WILLIAM.HORNE (around field, in Roman capitals) Device = A pair of antlers (in field); Rev inscription: IN.OATE.LANE.1671 (around field, in Roman capitals) Device = A / HALF / PENY (in three lines of Roman capitals, in field).
Oat Lane, runs off Noble Street, it was formerly in Cripplegate Ward and Aldersgate Ward, it now lies in Bassishaw Ward, in the City of London.
