The Tobacco Roll
Brian Weaver issued this trade token, worth a farthing, for his business at St Katherine's Stairs, Middlesex.
Boyne & Williamson (1889) reference London number 2632; Obv inscription: BRIAN.WEAVER.AT.ST (around field, in Roman capitals) Device = A roll of tobacco (in field); Rev inscription: KATHERINS.STAIRES (around field, in Roman capitals) Device = B.W (in field, in Roman capitals).
