Cloth seal, two-part cloth seal
A complete two disc cloth seal. The rivet disc is stamped with a distinctive, three spiked crown above three characters; the first may be a stylised fleur-de-lis , the second an ornate letter E and the third a spoked wheel (cart wheel?). The rove disc side is blank. The original record stated 'crown over fleur-de-lis, E 4 rose // -; ?? forged alnage seal'.
