Our Lady of Boulogne
Pilgrim badge from the shrine of Our Lady of Boulogne, Boulogne-sur-Mer in France. This shrine had a miracle-working statue of the Virgin Mary which was said to have been brought to the church by sea in a boat without any crew. This circular badge shows the Virgin and Child standing on the deck of a ship. Two guardian angels are also on board, one at the prow and the other at the stern. The badge has a cabled border.
