Knife
Copper-alloy handle from a small knife or razor; terminal in the form of a human hand, the thumb and index finger curled over and perhaps originally holding a spherical object, possibly an egg or pomegranate, a motif seen on hairpins. The main part of the cast handle is octagonal, with ?granular decoration and white metal coating, probably tinning, below the wrist and at the junction with the fixed iron blade of which only a trace remains. The small size of this knife suggests personal use.
