Iron key: shank unusally contracted ending in a crescent-shaped bar; crown-shaped bit with symmetrical aperture including two circular perforations. These may have been used to admit guard pins. Bit is topped with potruding t-bar. Collected at Dowgate Hill, Upper Thames Street, London. London Museum Type 9.
