Boyne & Williamson (1891) reference Surrey number 261; Obv inscription: EDWARD.GREENE.AT.YE (around field, in Roman capitals) Device = An oak with three crowns (in field); Rev inscription: BY.REDRIF.WALL.1666 (around field, in Roman capitals) Device = E.E.G. (triad of initials in Roman capitals, in field).
Rotherhithe formerly formed part of Surrey, it now lies within the London Borough of Southwark.
