Boyne & Williamson (1891) reference Southwark number 413; Obv inscription: the.black / Boy / 1668 (in three lines of cursive script around sign, in field) Device = A boy smoking (in field); Rev inscription: 1/2 / Nere.Suffolk / Street / .end (in four lines of cursive script, in field) Device = The Grocers' arms (in field).
