Boyne & Williamson (1891) reference Southwark number 211; Obv inscription: WILL.BARNES.1665 (around field, in Roman capitals) Device = A rose and thistle (in field); Rev inscription: CHVRCH.YARD.ALLEY (around field, in Roman capitals) Device = IN / TOOLEY / STREET (in three lines of Roman capitals, in field).
