Ann Broad issued this trade token, worth a farthing, for her business at the sign of the Three Conies (rabbits), in Blackman Street, Southwark.
Boyne & Williamson (1891) reference Southwark number 183; Obv inscription: AT.THE.3.CONIES.IN (around field, in Roman capitals) Device = Three rabbits (in field); Rev inscription: BLACKMAN.STREETE (around field, in Roman capitals) Device = ANN / BROA / D (in three lines of Roman capitals, in field).
