Edward Dalton issued this trade token, worth a farthing, for his business in Whitechapel, Middlesex.
Boyne & Williamson (1889) reference London number 3403; Obv inscription: EDWARD.DALTON (around field, in Roman capitals) Device = A patten (in field); Rev inscription: IN.WHIT.CHAPELL (around field, in Roman capitals) Device = A bell (in field).
