Boyne & Williamson (1889) reference London number 3346; Obv inscription: WILLIAM.TAYLER.AT (around field, in Roman capitals) Device = Three wheatsheaves (in field); Rev inscription: WAPPING.WALL.1658 (around field, in Roman capitals) Device = W.A.T. (triad of initials in Roman capitals, in field).
Wapping Wall runs north-east of Garnet Street, in the London Borough of Tower Hamlets, it was previously part of Stepney, Middlesex.
