The Wheatsheaf
G. Percy, a baker, issued this trade token, worth a farthing, for his business at the New Stairs, in Wapping, Middlesex.
Boyne & Williamson (1889) reference London number 3326; Obv inscription: G.PERCY.BAKER.AT.THE (around field, in Roman capitals) Device = A wheatsheaf (in field); Rev inscription: NEW.STAYRS.IN.WAPIN (around field, in Roman capitals) Device = G.P (in field, in Roman capitals).
