This trade token, worth a farthing, was issued for a business at the sign of the Golden Helmet, in Tower Street (now Great Tower Street), Tower Ward, City of London.
Boyne & Williamson (1889) reference London number 3213A. Obv inscription: AT.THE.GOLDEN.HELMET (around field, in Roman capitals) Device = A helmet (in field); Rev inscription: IN.TOWER.STREET (around field, in Roman capitals) Device = S.A.L. (triad of initials in Roman capitals, in field).
