The Blue Helmet
This trade token, worth a farthing, was issued for a business at the sign of the Blue Helmet, in Tower Street (now Great Tower Street), Tower Ward, City of London.
Boyne & Williamson (1889) reference London number 3213; Obv inscription: AT.THE.BLEW.HELMET (around field, in Roman capitals) Device = A.F.H. (triad of initials in Roman capitals in field); Rev inscription: IN.TOWER.STREETE (around field, in Roman capitals) Device = A helmet (in field).
