The Wheatsheaf
Richard Stone, a baker, issued this trade token, worth a farthing, for his business in Tower Dock, Middlesex.
Boyne & Williamson (1889) reference London number 3190; Obv inscription: RICHARD.STONE.IN (around field, in Roman capitals) Device = A wheatsheaf (in field); Rev inscription: TOVER.DOCKE.BAKARE (around field, in Roman capitals) Device = R.E.S. (triad of initials in Roman capitals, in field).
