Edward Jones issued this trade token, worth a half penny, for his business against the Custom House, in Thames Street.
Boyne & Williamson (1889) reference London number 3105; Obv inscription: Edward / Jones. over / Against. the / Custome. house / in. Thames / Street (in 6 lines of Cursive script, in field); Rev inscription: HIS. HALFE. PENNY. 1668 (around field, in Roman capitals) Device = The royal arms (in field).
