Boyne & Williamson (1889) reference London number 3028A; Obv inscription: AT.YE.BLACKE.BOY.IN (around field, in Roman capitals) Device = E.C (in field, in Roman capitals); Rev inscription: SWEETHINGS.RENTS (around field, in Roman capitals) Device = An Indian with bow and arrow
Sweeting Rents, later the Royal Exchange Buildings, lay on the north side of Cornhill, in Broad Street Ward, City of London.
