The Naken Boy
Robert Field issued this trade token, worth a half penny, for his business at the sign of the Naked Boy, in Queenhithe.
Boyne & Williamson (1889) reference London number 2302; Obv inscription: ROBERT.FEILD.AT.YE.NAKED (around field, in Roman capitals) Device = A naked boy holding a fruit (in field); Rev inscription: BOY.AT.QVEENE.HITHE.1667 (around field, in Roman capitals) Device = HIS / HALFE / PENNY / R.A.F. (in four lines of Roman capitals with triad of initials as bottom, in field).

Queenhithe, was the name of a dock and a ward in the City of London, the ward name is still used today, and a street in the area of the dock, holds the name Queenhithe.
