The Prince of Wales Feathers
Thomas Baker issued this trade token, worth a farthing, for his business at the sign of the Feathers, in Puddle Dock.
Boyne & Williamson (1889) reference London number 2287; Obv inscription: THO.BAKER.AT.THE.59 (around field, in Roman capitals) Device = The Prince of Wales feathers (in field); Rev inscription: NERE.PVDLE.DOCK.16 (around field, in Roman capitals) Device = T.A.B. (triad of initials in Roman capitals, in field).
