Boyne & Williamson (1889) reference London number 2190; Obv inscription: THE.MER.MAYDE.TAVERN (around field, in Roman capitals) Device = A mermaid (in field); Rev inscription: IN.PATER.NOSTER.ROW (around field, in Roman capitals) Device = R.I.F. (triad of initials in Roman capitals, in field).
