The Black Boy
William Baggot, a brewer, issued this trade token, worth a farthing, for his business on Old Fish Street Hill.
Boyne & Williamson (1889) reference London number 2136; Obv inscription: WIL.BAGGOT.BREWER (around field, in Roman capitals) Device = Two women washing a man (in field); Rev inscription: ON.OVLD.FISH.STREET.HIL (around field, in Roman capitals) Device = W.B (in field, in Roman capitals).

A portion of Old Fish Street Hill survives to the north of Queen Victoria Street, the rest subsequently became part of Queen Victoria Street and Lambeth Hill, lying in Bread Street Ward and Queenhithe Ward, in the City of London.
