Jane Gun issued ths trade token, worth a half penny, for her business a meal shop, at the Old Barge House (now part of Bucklersbury).
Boyne & Williamson (1889) reference London number 2124; Obv inscription: IANE.GVN.NEARE.THE (around field, in Roman capitals) Device = 1666 (in field); Rev inscription: OVLD.BARGE.HOVSE (around field, in Roman capitals) Device = A / MEAL / SHOP (in three lines of Roman capitals, in field).
Old Barge House (now part of Bucklersbury) was a row houses to the south of Bucklesbury, see Henry A. Harben, A dictionary of London (London, 1918).
