The Swan and Bridge
This trade token, worth a farthing, for his business at the sign of the Swan and Bridge, in New Fish Street (now Fish Street Hill).
Boyne & Williamson (1889) reference London number 2008. Obv inscription: YE.SWAN.&.BRIDGE.IN (around field, in Roman capitals) Device = A swan on a bridge with houses on it (in field); Rev inscription: NEW.FISH.STREETE.57 (around field, in Roman capitals) Device = G.E.B. (triad of initials in Roman capitals, in field).
