Boyne & Williamson (1889) reference London number 1872; Obv inscription: W.PAYNE.TAL.CHANDLER (around field, in Roman capitals) Device = A man dipping candles (in field); Rev inscription: IN.MARKE.LANE.1651 (around field, in Roman capitals) Device = W.M.P. (triad of initials in Roman capitals, in field).
