Boyne & Williamson (1889) reference London number 1842; Obv inscription: IOHN.MVRDINE.TALLOW (around field, in Roman capitals) Device = I.M.M. / 1666 (in two lines of Roman capitals, in field); Rev inscription: CHANLER.IN.LOVE.LANE (around field, in Roman capitals) Device = BY / BILL / INS / GATE (in four lines of Roman capitals, in field).
Love Lane (now Lovat Lane), was in Billingsgate Ward, in the City of London.
