The Three Horseshoes
William Rawlins issued this trade token, worth a farthing, for his business at the sign of the Crooked Billet, in Houndsditch.
Boyne & Williamson (1889) reference London number 1526; Obv inscription: WILLIAM.RAWLINS (around field, in Roman capitals) Device = Three horseshoes (in field); Rev inscription: IN.HOVNSDITCH (around field, in Roman capitals) Device = A crooked billet (in field).
