The Golden Still

This trade token, worth a farthing, was issued at the sign of the Golden Still, at Holborn Conduit.

Boyne & Williamson (1889) reference London number 1393; Obv inscription: AT.THE.GOVLDEN.STILL (around field, in Roman capitals) Device = A still showing fire and a receptacle (in field); Rev inscription: AT.HOLBORN.CONDVIT (around field, in Roman capitals) Device = R.E.D. (triad of initials in Roman capitals, in field).
