The King's Head Tavern
This trade token, worth a farthing, was issued at the King's Head tavern, at the Hermitage Dock, Wapping, Middlesex.
Boyne & Williamson (1889) reference London number 1342; Obv inscription: KINGS.HEAD.TAVERN (around field, in Roman capitals) Device = Henry VIII head (in field); Rev inscription: AT.THE.HERMITAGE (around field, in Roman capitals) Device = W.E.A. (triad of initials in Roman capitals, in field).
