The Two Sugar Loaves
Thomas Perrot issued this trade token, worth a farthing, for his business at the sign of the sugar loaves, in Golden Lane.
Boyne & Williamson (1889) reference London number 1171. Obv inscription: THOMAS.PERROT.IN (around field, in Roman capitals) Device = Two sugar-loaves conjoined (in field); Rev inscription: GOLDEN.LANE.1658 (around field, in Roman capitals) Device = T.L.P. (triad of initials in Roman capitals, in field).
Golden Lane is in Cripplegate Ward, in the City of London.
