The Three Men ?
John Stock issued this trade token, worth a half penny, for his business in Freeman's Lane, Southwark.
Boyne & Williamson (1889) reference London number 1129; Obv inscription: IOHN.STOCK.1667 (around field, in Roman capitals) Device = Three men standing (in field); Rev inscription: IN.FREEMAS.LANE (around field, in Roman capitals) Device = HIS / HALFE / PENNY / I.S (in four lines of Roman capitals, in field).
Freeman's Lane, lay in Bermondsey, Southwark. It was destroyed for the construction of Tower Bridge Road.
