Boyne & Williamson (1889) reference London number 1114; Obv inscription: LANCELOTT.AYRES.AT.YE (around field, in Roman capitals) Device = A rose (in field); Rev inscription: IN.FOSTER.LANE.HIS.½.PENY (around field, in Roman capitals) Device = L.M.A. (triad of initials in Roman capitals, in field).
