The Woolpack
Francis Tyler, an oilman (a person who sells oil), issued this trade token, worth a half penny, for his business in Fenchurch Street.
Boyne & Williamson (1889) reference London number 999; Obv inscription: FRANC.TYLER.OYL.MAN (around field, in Roman capitals) Device = A woolpack (in field); Rev inscription: IN.FENCHVRCH.STREET (around field, in Roman capitals) Device = F.E.T. (triad of initials, in Roman capitals).
