Robert Bosworth issued this trade token, worth a half penny for his business in Fashion Street, Spitalfields, Middlesex.
Boyne & Williamson (1889) reference London number 971; Obv inscription: ROBERT. BOSWORTH. IN. FASSON (around field, in Roman capitals) Device = A lion rampant (in field); Rev inscription: STREETE.IN.SPITTLE.FEILDS (around field, in Roman capitals) Device = R.A.B / 1670 (in two lines of Roman capitals, in field).
