Model, model stall
Domed glass jar and base containing a model of a stall comprising a gilded wooden stall set with a mirror. On the stall are attached miniature clothes such as cotton petticoats, bonnets, smocks, shirts etc. Surrounding the dressing table are other miniature items such as a basket with shell flowers, a chair with a miniature jointed doll, tennis racket, baby carriage, cups, saucers etc. Above the dressing table is a large mirror with gilded wooden frame. Beside the dressing table is a doll, representing the stall holder. The doll has wax over composition head, painted facial features, glass eyes and mohair hair. With stuffed leather arms and cotton body and legs stuffed with sawdust. Dressed in a long grey dress with cameo brooch and flower belt.
