Boyne & Williamson (1889) reference London number 694; Obv inscription: THE.COCK.AT.COCK (around field, in Roman capitals) Device = A cock (in field); Rev inscription: LANE.END.IN.SHORDICH (around field, in Roman capitals) Device = T.G [?C].A (triad of initials in Roman capitals, in field).
Cock Lane, lies in Shoreditch, in the London Borough of Hackney, having formerly been part of Middlesex.
