The Two Draymen
William Bincks issued this trade token, worth a half penny, for his business at the Two Brewers' tavern in Cloth Fair.
Boyne & Williamson (1889) reference London number 673; Obv inscription: WILLIAM.BINCKS.AT.THE.2 (around field, in Roman capitals) Device = Two men carrying a barrel on a pole (in field); Rev inscription: BREWERS.IN.CLOATH.FAIRE (around field, in Roman capitals) Device = HIS / HALFE / PENNY / 1666 (in four lines of Roman capitals, in field).
