The Nag's Head
Mary Woodfall issued this trade token, worth a farthing, for her business at the Nag's Head in Cheapside.
Boyne & Williamson (1889) reference London number 602; Obv inscription: MARY.WOODFALL (around field, in Roman capitals) Device = A nag's head (in field); Rev inscription: IN.CHEAPE.SIDE (around field, in Roman capitals) Device = M.W (in field, in Roman capitals).
