Boyne & Williamson (1889) reference London number 463; Obv inscription: THE.WHIT.LYON.TAVERN (around field, in Roman capitals) Device = A lion rampant (in field); Rev inscription: IN.CANDLE.WICK.STREETE (around field, in Roman capitals) Device = T.E in monogram (in field).
