The Unicorn
Nathaniel Bagne issued this trade token, worth a farthing, for his business at the sign of the Unicorn in Cannon Street.
Boyne & Williamson (1889) reference London number 459; Obv inscription: NATHANIELL.BAGNE (around field, in Roman capitals) Device = A unicorn (in field); Rev inscription: IN.CANNON.STREETE (around field, in Roman capitals) Device = N.S.B. (triad of initials in Roman capitals, in field).
