Boyne & Williamson (1889) reference London number 440A; Obv inscription: AT. THE. SHIPE. TAVERNE (around field, in Roman capitals) Device = A ship (in field); Rev inscription: IN.BVG.ROW.1649 (around field, in Roman capitals) Device = I.M.C. (triad of initials in Roman capitals, in field).
Budge Row lies in Cordwainer Ward, in the City of London.
