Model, model stall, character doll & model
The doll and stall are enclosed under a circular glass dome on square wooden base. Doll is dressed as a bazaar seller with associated stall. Doll has painted wooden face and composition body and limbs and is dressed as a widow in a black silk dress. The stall has a wooden frame covered with cotton cloth. It is adorned with numerous miniature objects which would be traditionally sold on bazaar stalls of the period, including cushions, silk net penny purses, crocheted boots and mittens, two painted wooden miniature dolls, necklaces of beads, knitted mats and a miniature button hook. There is a miniature textile sampler hung from the front of the stall with the letters A V embroidered.
