The Seven Stars
Vincent Fletcher issued this trade token, worth a farthing, for his premises, the Seven Stars tavern in Basing Lane (now part of Cannon Street).
Boyne & Williamson (1889) reference London number 147; Obv inscription: VINCENT.FLETCHER (around field, in Roman capitals) Device = Seven stars (in field); Rev inscription: IN.BASING.LANE.1666 (around field, in Roman capitals) Device = V.F.F. (triad of initials in Roman capitals, in field).
