The Bull
William Rudd issued this trade token, worth a farthing, for his business in the Barbican.
Boyne & Williamson (1889) reference London number 122; Obv inscription: WILLIAM.RVDD.IN (around field, in Roman capitals) Device = A bull (in field); Rev inscription: BARBICANN.1655 (around field, in Roman capitals) Device = W.A.R. (triad of initials in Roman capitals, in field).
