St George
Fragment of a pilgrim badge made from a stamped copper alloy sheet. It was probably originally hexagonal in shape but only the lower point survives. The badge has a twisted cabled border bearing a legend: '...NI BENE...'. The remains of a dragon with a curling tail can still be seen, making it likely that this is a badge of St George.
