Part of a decorated samian bowl, form Dragendorff 37, with ovolo decoration, probably made in one of the potteries in South Gaul. Decoration includes a winding scroll design with chevron band above. Samian ware is high-quality Roman tableware made in Gaul (modern-day France) and exported throughout the empire.
