Animal remains, antler, pendant, roundel pendant
An antler roundel pendant (Type 3) with a lathe-turned central raised boss and a series of four drilled holes. The reverse of this example still has possible mortar/plaster adhering suggesting that it may have been displayed on a wall rather than hung around the next as a pendant as the majority of antler roundel pendants were.
The type would appear to last throughout the Roman period. There is an early example from Longthorpe, a late Roman one from Manduessedum and there are numerous continental examples.
