Pottery, vessel, lampstand, incense-cup
An incomplete Cnidian relief ware (Cnidus is an ancient city in modern day Turkey) lampstand decorated in relief as a pine-cone. Part of a lampstand, which when complete had a central incense-cup and two flanking lamps on stands on rectangular base. Probable unique example found in Roman Britain. (Cnidian relief ware).
