The rivet disc with the rivet stub cut away, from a two disc dyer's cloth seal. It is stamped with N.. / III / (LON)DON STA(LL). It is pierced twice and has a ragged hole where too much lead was removed when cutting the stub. There is a cloth weave imprint on the reverse around the section where the rivet stub used to be. It is interesting to note the re-working of this seal after its primary use as a cloth seal.
